  I am 22 years old and drive a 1964 mercury comet every day. Ever since I bought my car the transmission had been slipping and leaking fluid. Anyway recently I my rear differential in the car went. I was getting quotes from all over ranging from $1400 to $1800 for the rear and $1500 to $2500 for the trans. I was pulling my hair out until a friend recommended A1 economy transmission. The owner talked to me over the phone and his prices seemed to be good, And unlike the other so called experts he seemed to know what he was talking about when it came to my car. I decided to let them do the the rear and tyranny rebuild. I was amazed they came in right on budget $2100 total for a tyranny and rear ! Not only did they come in on budget these guys are true masters at there craft. My c4 tyranny shifts so smooth you cant feel it and it shifts right when it should ! I have a friend who was a ford salesman in the 60s he says these tyrannys did not shift this well when they where new. I am completely blown away and highly recommend A1 Economy Transmission !
